pal or ntsc

    i have a region2 dvd machine,if i buy discs on the web,do i choose pal or ntsc discs?

    If it's only Region 2, then you should buy PAL discs.

    If you have a region 2 only player then you should by region 2 or region 0/all discs only. Region 2 discs will usually be PAL, but not always. Not all PAL discs, though, are region 2--e.g., region 4, Australia, is also PAL.

    You should look into making your player multi-region. It's the only way to go.

    Yep .
    Get a multi region machine or at least one that can easily be hacked to be that way if your machine cannot be hacked to be so.
    That will ensure that the regional differences in DVDs sourced from any where will not be a problem.
    As for the NTSC/PAL issue ,most modern DVD players destined to be used this side of the atlantic will play both as some region 2 DVDs are NTSC .
