PAL NTSC problem

I have a problem on my Panasonic EX75. I recorded the Underdog show for my sister while watching a DVD in NTSC mode. Annoyingly the PAL broadcast was recorded in NTSC and is now black and white and half off the screen. Is there anything I can do to rescue this? If not my sister is going to do bad things to me when she gets back from her holiday.

might be unrecoverable. try to run it through a conversion program if you can access the file or alternatively try finding a torrent of the show.

Thanks but I couldn't recover it. Spent two hours playing with converters and demuxers and such to no avail. Oh well

Just read this, might be too late.

You might have some success with DVD Patcher.

As the recording might not be recorded as pure NTSC.
