pal/ntsc pro output help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there anyone any idears.

I have posted on the dvd player section but no joy.

my dvd player Philips 962sa.

Running through the progressive outputs on the the back I have noticed that the NTSC pictures are much better quaility that the the pal Pictures that are a bit grainy.

now have have run this into a sony 11ht, and a 12 HT and its the same.

I have turned the player off and help the buttons down till is says Pal on the front, but it is still the same, not as good a picture.


is there anything I can do, IE on the player or proj....is there any settings.

What is the conversion this player is useing....because this was from hivizone, is was originaly a r3 player(ntsc) so is this why this is better.

If I had the 963, that is a euro player (pal) would the pal be the best picture.

Help or advice please

 

I don`t know this model but for sure the 963sa can do pal prog.It changes the PAL signal to NTSC and then you have PAL prog.

Does this model have DCDi by Faroudja
built in.It will be even better the picture.

 

yes it does it, but as I said the NTSC pictures are much better.


yes it does have the chip.
