    Hi,

I recently moved to Japan and would like to have any advice regarding the best way to get excellent picture quality from my PAL GameCube.

My TV is NTSC and supports Svideo and Composite as well as D1 socket Component 480i and 520i.

I am thinking of getting a D1 component cable for my gamecube, however I would like to know if anyone has any experience running a PAL gamecube via the digital socket and a component cable on an NTSC TV. I imagine that I should be ok as long as I select 60Hz mode when the games start, but confirmation would be great.

    Thanks
