Hi guys,
sorry if this has been asked before :)

I bought samsung BD-D8200 blu ray player form amazon.uk, which i beleive its PAL only (not receive it yet).
And i have samsung LED 3DTV 6400 60" i bought it from US and its NTSC only.

Can i play blu ray (pal) disks with Full HD 1080p on my TV ?

Do i need to a pal / ntsc convertor ?

As the player has already been purchased, can you try it out?

Yes i already bought the player, but i did not receive it yet.
my concern is, my friend told me that i will not be able to watch full HD blu ray movie on my ntsc TV, because my player is PAL and my TV is NTSC, IS HE RIGHT ?
Is it still matter if i use HDMI cable ?

You will need a HDMI cable for HD films to get 1080p/24 fps. If you TV cannot accept a PAL signal I don't think you will get a proper picture with DVDs... regarding Blu-rays, I think you will be OK.

So. i can get full HD with blu ray movies , sound good

Thank you
Here is a quotation from the internet that expands on my comments:

High-def is neither PAL nor NTSC. It's a world standard, 1080p everywhere, so region-free blu-ray discs will play on all systems. Some standard-def extras might be encoded in PAL so some people have trouble with them, but you can check blubeaver.ca for information on a lot of discs.

All the best.
