If you DON'T require HDMI connection, but will be using component, then the following Panasonics should meet your needs S29 and S49.

If HDMI is required, then you'll want the Pansonic S97 or Samsung 745, 850, 945 or 950 (latter model not yet available)

I'm pretty sure that there are a number of Tosh models that support PS with both PAL and NTSC...

    Try the 340E for starters.

    Thanks

Its just that its not clear on the toshiba site that any of them support NTSC PS.

    Or anywhere for that matter.

Just checked again, the Toshiba site doesnt say NTSC progressive, should I just presume that they support this function?

I have just purchased an SP5000 1280x720 Projector.

My old projector was connected via Composite Video from Sky, DVD & Tivo.

As this new PJ supports component in I was thinking of getting a Panasonic S49 as that offers component out and Optical to my AMP. I don't need to replace my DVD player as such, but I want the best signal I can get to really show off the PJ.

Should I take this route, or will SVHS be up to the job?

    Fordy.

    Have a look at:

    http://www.homecinemachoice.com/

Search for Tosiba DVD Reviews. Some of the reviews (that one I looked at was the 340) state support for PAL/NTSC PS.
