Some of the players are modified for PAL 60. What is it and do I need it?

Normal PAL is 50hz. NTSC is 60hz. PAL60 retains the 60hz of NTSC , so should work with a TV that is not fully NTSC compatible. Notice I said 'should'! See my post 'This LG hack works, for more info.
