runs games at 60Hz instead of 50, games are smoother but you lose some resolution.

Once you get used to 60 you wont wnat to use 50 again

Read some earlier threads about some games running jerky when using diffrent settings ??
Does it make any diffrence if your using a 50 hz or 100 hz TV.

Halo is the only game I know of that seems to run better in 50Hz mode.

    I presume 100Hz sets also do 60Hz.

If they do a proper port, as in the case of Halo and Max Payne, turning to 60Hz will screw up. 60hz also does strange things to some 100hz tvs.

You should use PAL60 when its clear there are borders at the screen bottom.

Because they have been properly ported to 50hz and the different clock causes the games internal timing to screw up.
