I have a sony 1040, and as nice as it's image is to look at, it's exterior certainly isn't. It is currently a light grey(standard colour) I was wondering if anyone on the forum has painted their pj casing a different colour and what the most suitable type of paint is to use.

a "plasticote" matt black spray will go straight on that how my Barco was done.

However, if you want to use standard emulsion then you should paint a watered down pva on first or even mixed with the paint,

this gives a better bond to the plastic.

MAKE SURE ITS CLEAN FIRST, dust and smoke free.

I used plasticote on my Barco and finished it with their clear sealant in a kind of fleck effect
