Morning all, this morning I open one car door into another...

Nice white car now had a red patch on the side... What's the best way to remove the paint? There's not much at all and no dint but obviously noticeable... It hardly touched it so I'm surprised paint came off to be honest...

Also, I've ordered a touch up pen for the other door... They easy to use?!

    Thanks.

Just polish it off with something like AutoGlym super resin polish. I never bother with touch up pens but instead use a pot of paint then use a cocktail stick or something similar to give more accuracy.

I've ordered a touch up kit for my car.
    What a palavour.
There's wet and dry paper, there's the paint, there's clear coat
Haven't a flipping clue what to do, I remember touch up sticks being an 'all in one' thing.
You dabbed it on as best you could, end of.
When you mention a touch up pen, do you mean one containing your car colour?
Or one of those 'magic scratch pens' you see advertised on QVC?

    Cheers both.

Will any polish work? Will have to go get a bottle later.

Touch up pen from vauxhall... I'm hoping it's just the dab one! It's only a small area on the edge, not too noticeable.

Do what I did in the past and get two white cars, problem solved if you are clumsy like my good self!
