I've just invested in my first AV and am now in the process of putting together a speaker system. I am in two minds whether to just add some rears, a centre or instead get a package. Is there a great deal of difference in terms of sound quality?

What does anyone think would be a good compromise, and if I were to go for a package, would I be able to integrate it with my current stereo speakers?

I have a fairly small budget - £150.00, so any advice around possible set ups would be really great.

    Thanks guys.

The rears aren't so much of a problem but if you buy a centre speakers that sounds different to your stereo speakers, all voices and other sounds will change tone as they pan across the screen which can be a little disconcerting to some people but others couldn't care less. That's why it is recommended that the front three speakers are tonally matched.
