I have a Pace Twin PVR 2 questions

    1. Why does it not receive all channels?

    2. It has a card slot, will it accept topuptv?

    many thanks

1: Which ones (other than TUTV) is it missing?

2: No. And there are no plans to make it so.

The odds are that your aerial isn't upto the job, not having access to BBC1/2 is unusual though it's normally ITV, Five that are missing.

The TWIN wasn't designed for TUTV, it was initially specced for ITVDigital and obviously the embedded CAM is hardwired in such a way that it can not be upgraded to support SECA2.

Check on www.dtg.org.uk to find the UHF Channel number that carries digital BBC1 and 2 at your transmitter. Then check to see what aerial type is needed.

Ensure that nothing else (such as a VCR) comes in between the aerial downlead and the Twin. Check that your VCR (if you have one) isn't set to output RF on the UHF Channel number in use for BBC1 & 2.

Consider changing your aerial, if necessary.

    Thanks nigel
I've been on the roof and tweaked the aerial, fitted a mast head amp and all the channels are there
