Suggestions on where to buy the Pace Twin would be appreciated. I thought I'd try and wait until the price came down, or hard disc size went up, but I don't think I can wait any longer...

    Regards

Rob,I called Pace and asked for the phone number of the distributor in my area, then asked the distributor for local stockists. Had it bought and paid for (£330) in under an hour. It was the last one though.

I ordered mine from digitalboxshop.co.uk on Saturday morning and it arrived first thing this morning (Tuesday). I think if you ordered today they will deliver Friday.

I was going to use them, but thought that the postage charge was (a) cheeky and (b) steep.

Ged, I bought from a small independent Sat/Aerial company near Whitfield, off Stand Lane on Beech Ave (or street). Company is called AIR, sorry I havn't got the number with me but you know how to get it. He did say it was the last one though, and bear in mind he accepted £330 for cash. Also bear in mind that he doesn't have credit card facilitys, cash or cheque only ( I said it was a small place).

Has anyone else found any local dealers doing good deals or any other websites (apart from digitalboxshop) selling these? I think i will see if places on Tottenham Ct Road have any tmw. £350 sounds very much like a retail price, so £300-320 might be possible?

There was a comment in the "pace twin has arrived" thread of £240+vat trade price = £282 inclusive+distributor/goods-in costs+storage+admin+post-sales support time+profit, etc!

    regards,
    Rob.

I just received my Pace Twin from Quality Electrical Direct.

Cost was £300.51 including shipping (1 year mfr warranty).

Here's a direct link to the product http://www.qed-uk.com/?i=0_CLf93q4OCE&vp=6&bg=276&bp=twins&bi=0

They were out of stock when I ordered but I got it within 8 days which was faster than they promised.

This was the cheapest price I could find online...

    Cheers.

It's all gone quiet in here. Has anybody else found any good deals on the twin?

I ordered one from QED-uk. Ain't got it yet. (Still early days)

Maybe it's quiet here because, after early optimism, there are now a few negative comments about soft pictures, and missed recording events.

We'll need a good s/w update in May to get back on track :smashin:

Saw one in Miller Brothers at the weekend. GBP350 give or take a few 'p'. However, having read other threads on this article, I'm going to wait until they (or someone else) get it right before buying one.
