    Folks,

Took delivery of the Pace Twin at the weekend and am over the moon with it. Superb bit of kit for a silly price. The picture quality seems better than my NTL cable. Love some of its features - simply couldn't cope with the hassle of a VCR ever again.

However I'm baffled that there seems to be no Teletext. When pressing the Text button nothing appears on screen but the LED on the front of the box flickers showing a signal is been sent by the control.

Is there no Teletext by default meaning it is aquired when the updates are issued ?

If that is the case how can I see what update level i'm at ? also when is the next one planned ?

    Many TIA

    Mike.

Worry not, just tune in to a BBC channel on Sat June 5th and you will receive a OTA upgrade which will enable you to have digital text.

Nice one - thanks for the quick reply. Great info on this forum.

Any news when the 7 day EPG will be available nationwide ?

We all live in hope Mate! 3 Day EPG is the most we can hope for for the near future as technical issues mean 7day is along way off if at all.

But not for us all Hornydragon ;). While on the subject, what has been the problem? I've never seen any undesired effects caused by the epg.

EPG data was slowing and crashing the boxes. Seems they have it sorted and up to a 5 day EPG almost nationwide since latest software update.
