Having had a number of amps running my Castle Harlechs, (Talk, exposure xx, cyrus) all sounding overwarm, I bought a battered grey 8000A and the sound is amazing. Deep tight bass and clear mids. I saw that Tag are selling the PA10/P60 at knock down price, is the sound similar to the 8000A Audiolab? What are these based on (8000 C and 8000LX ?) and does anyone recommend the purchase based upon the great sound i',m getting from the 8000A (I would keep it but its pretty old and scratched).

Tag equipment does not seem to get the favourable reviews as the old Audiolab gear did back in the 90s.
    cheers

If you like the sound of the Audiolab you'll love the TAG combination. The P60 is a great power amp, especially at 50% discount

For the knock-down price the combo will be hard to beat :smashin:
