OK now from being on these boards for about 2 months I have seen alot of discussion on Home Cinema.
But I have a mate who owns a pub and wanting to set up a Disco night in his pub.
Now I have suggested the Marantz PM-7200 to him for the amp but then discoverd he wants speakers that can handle like 1600W ish...now the MArantz isn't going to do much for these speaker so I'm after a very powerful amp and speakers that can take around 1500W, any ideas...
I just don't know where to start..
    Thanks...

ATC SCM-50s are rated at 100 - 1500 watts, will go damn loud, and will sound a hell of a lot better than a PA system... though at £5500 a pair they may be a tad dear...... :p

    Don't forget the sensitivity of the speakers - 89Db speaks at 1500watts = 92Db speaks at 750watts = 95Db speaks at 375watts.
