    Hi all :hiya:

For P900 owners, could you please let me know if there is a function or feature that would allow you to shut the phone down and start it up automatically at certain times.

I want the phone to autoshut from midnight to 7AM daily; is this possible?

Also, I noticed I have to charge the phone ever 2 days maximum, is this normal. I am certainly not a heavy user, but I have to admit - since the phone is new - I've been playing with it for a couple of hours a day. :D

My iPAQ 3970 lasts much longer than 2 days without charge.

    Thank you for your help.

Spacecat, thank you for the response.

My P900 lasts me 24hrs !!!! I think it is either the phone or the battery at fault; as it doesn't sound right - I believe SE quote 5/6 days in standby mode.

    Regards

    emad,

are you using things like infrared and bluetooth ? both of these drain battery life and should be switched off when not in use.

the other thing to look out for is that there are no unecessary programs running in the background which also drains the battery a lot.

if this is the case try using sman - http://renegade.w3xs.com/droll.htm

this app can be set up to close running apps when your flip is closed. this should help.

    mr do!

I've heard others say that if you leave BT switched on the battery life is reduced to less than half.
