    Hi all,

New to the forum, however had one of the first sets of P7 with AV8

Having a problem with the P7, wanted to know if any knows what this is......
ill be watching a film, then a channel will stop working , at the moment its the front right, however the centre used to cut off. On the amp the led will be flashing in Amber. To resolve the issue I have to reboot the amp.

Is this a heat related issue?

    Any help would be great.

    Hi
    Welcome to the forums
Not had the problem myself, best bet would be to get on to Arcam tech support, they will know the problem pretty quickly

My P7 has just done the same. It's out of guarantee by about 6 months. Do you think they'll fix it free of charge as it is obviously a common fault?

All you can do is ask them. Be polite, and honest and I'm sure they will help you out. Not sure how common it is, but you can only ask.

    Cheers

    Cheers Yogi.

As it turns out as I registered my product I have 5 years guarantee so it's cool.

I'm not quite sure if discovering tha one other person has had an similar issue with the P7 constitutes a 'Common Fault'

Anyway, I bet your glad you registered the product, although I don't think Arcam would have taken too tough a line on it if you hadn't.

Fair point about the 'common fault'. I was getting my story ready for Arcam but yes I am glad I registered the amp.
