    Hi,

Am building a PC where inside case temperature is a serious consideration.

My choice of processor is between the 2.6 and 2.8 P4's - there is only £9 difference between the two, but is the 2.8GHz going to be significantly hotter than the 2.6?

    Cheers,
    Andy

Intel's site will tell you the exact wattage of each CPU and thermal details.
Depends on how you're going to use it but there's not goin got be much in it.

    Hi,

Thanks for replying, I did eventually find the info on the Intel site and there is hardly any difference :)

    Cheers,
    A.
