Just wanted to check there's no reason why I can't place my DV27A on top of one of my p35's as I'm running out of space! The feet don't fit as the amps a lot deeper but I've got a set of Audioquest sorbothane feet to get round that. I take it there's nothing in one unit that's going to cause any problems in the other when they're so close?

    Hi Timmy

My 27A gets quite warm on it's own so I would not want to place another heat generating device below it.

The P35 also has the heat vents on the top towards the front. I would not want to block these as this may cause the amp to overheat. If you have the 3rd amp module installed then this is more likely.

    Just my two pence worth.

    Thanks for your reply Dave.

I was thinking of putting the P35 on top so the vents won't be covered and yes it does have a third channel fitted although the main two channels are only doing high frequency (bi-amped front speakers) so I was hoping it would be ok as far as heat goes.

Has anyone else tried this with their amp/dvd player?

Thanks Andy. Judging by that thread I can get away with the P35 on top of the dvd player but if anyone wants to tell me why I shouldn't then fire away.
