Owner of AVR 100

I have a AVR 100, for about 2,5 years, wich I must say is a very good piece of equipment.
Excellent for stereo, and pretty good for DD 5.1 or DTS 5.1, at least in my opinion.
As this world evolves, new tehcnology appears.
And now, when confronted with things like Doby Prologic IIx, DTS 96/24, DTS ES Discrete 6.1, THX, DVD-Audio, SACD and so on, it seems like my AVR100 is "old".
So, my question is: What can I do ? Is there any kind of upgrade to my AVR 100?
Is my only option the aquisition of a new AV Receiver ?
Hope to hear something from ARCAM.
Best regards

The upcoming Arcam AVR300 supports all of the features you mention apart from THX.

Unfortunately it needs a more powerful DSP and microprocessor, more and better power amps etc. and a much bigger power supply. In reality just about the only thing it shares with the AVR100 is the mains cord.

So I think you have to consider a new receiver. The aforementioned AVR300 will be sampling to distributors during April and is expected to be widely available across Europe in the second half of May.

With best wishes,

What about the U.S.?
Same timeframe, sooner, later?
