Looking at buying a 7' Electric Owl screen.

Just wondered if it was designed so that I could mount the centre and 2 front speakers behind the screen?

Is it perforated to allow the sound through or would quality suffer at all?

Does it say it is a perforated sound screen?

If it doesn't then it won't be suitable for having the speakers behind. Acoustically transparent screens are typically more expensive than non-perforated screens and have much lower gains (less than 1:1).

Also not recomended for use with pixel based PJ's such as LCD or DLP as the perferations can match pixel positions and cause visual artifacts. With CRT PJ's they are fine, but if you had a CRT you would have posted this in the CRT forum anyway. :D
