My yammy RX2095RDS (DSP A2)is connected to speakers that are pretty small and weak related to the receiver, which means that a little bit too much power could brake them. Could this damage my receiver too?

For the ones who know the specs of the A2:
    speakers (5): 6 Ohm, 100 Watt DIN
    subwoofer: B&W ASW1000

    Thanks,

    Dirk

It is possible that overloading the speakers could damage your amp though very rare ,just make sure you have all speakers set to small in the amp setup menu then the sub will do all the hard work.
