Have just bought an air puifier/ioniser for £50. It changes the air once an hour at 56sqm. My lounge is 36sqm and on setting 3 it changes the air approx twice an hour. It clears around 99.5 of particles in the air including tabacco smoke and dust.

Being a smoker, I have noticed a vast difference in the air quality which can only benefit my pj (11HT).

Anyone else using one and able to give any feedback?

I will feed back how long the filter lasts.

On the subject of air treatment thingys, does anyone know if a dehumidifier has a cooling effect? In summer my house get's stifling hot like a sauna and I'm sure it's cos there's a lot of moisture in the air, would a dehumidifier cool the house down?

    Cheers
    Andy
