over clocked prob

ive got a phenom 2 965 and thought i would raise the multiplyer to make it 3.70ghz rather than the stock 3.40ghz i ran a stress test and within 5 mins the temperture hit 68 so i stoped it, i have a arctic cooler for the cpu and about 3 other fans in the comp so cant understand why the overheating prob..

ps this is my old cpu just thought i would overclock and see how it goes im getting the phenom 2 1090t.

I'd assume it's just a chip that doesn't like overclocking then, you could try raising the FSB (Hypertransport base speed or whatever it's called these days) and keeping the multiplier and see if they produces similar results at 3.7Ghz.
