As per title really, looking at either the CL-50 or CL-60 monitor audio. Will run them from zone 2 on the anthem using its internal amps.

Anyone got any alternatives, or experience with the MA CL range?

I've got the CL60-T2 on my patio fed from my AVR. Great speaker and decent sound quality with good low end. For outside use more than good enough. Mine has been installed for three years now and has stood up to the elements perfectly, and it's on a very exposed north west facing wall.

I've had a pair of B&W AM1's for a few years now, I take them down during the winter but otherwise they sound fantastic and still look good (ie. haven't overly weathered on south facing wall).

The nice thing about the B&W AM-1's is that you can quickly take them down / put them back up, simply by unscrewing one bolt with a big allen key. The wall bracket stays fixed to the wall, wired to your amp and the speaker itself sort of 'plugs into' the bracket (you then tighten it in position with the bolt/allen key).

Plenty powerful for their size too, with great bass. In fact I'd be worried about upsetting the neighbours if I drove them anywhere near full volume outside of a garden party I had forewarned them about and/or invited them to.

Anther vote for the AM-1's from me! Had a pair for a few years now, great looking, really nice design (as described by jamieeu, easy to fit and remove) and sound great. Have a rear facing passive bass radiator so you get more low end from them than you do from most outdoor speakers. I use my AM-1's connected to a Sonos amp and they seem to be happy enough with the power output.
Have my eye on these Sonance Landscape Series for a new garden project but thats probably going to be next year now.

Ended up ordering some monitor audio CL-60 as the deal was too good to pass on.

Should sound pretty sweet if i can configure the cinema system and multi room system as one 7 zone system.
