Output via component AND HDMI at the same time

I have been using the component output on my PS3 since I got it, but have recently ordered a new AV amp, and would like to experiment with the new HD sound formats.

As I undersstand it, I can only do this by outputting sound via HDMI. Can I do this whilst still outputting video to component?

Yes you can, just tried RGB scart for video and HDMI for sound. Works a treat.

Hope that helps
