Hi first time poster - did search if this was already in the forums, couldn't find it, so apologies if there is already a thread -would appreciate if someone could send me the link, else appreciate any guidance. Also i'm not a tech ninja so apologies if I sound a little stupid..

Short on space so need to economise on room, I have a large screen all in one computer with HDMI and composite ports. I want to connect it to my V+ HD box. so that I can watch and hear all my programs (free to air and subscription) on the monitor (and not need to buy a separate TV).

What do I need if anything to interface the two/interpret the signal?

thanks in advance for your help and newbie patience

HDMI lead out from VM box to HDMI in on monitor.

Is the HDMI input or output?

Some all in one systems have an HDMI output, so you can connect another display. If this is the case with yours, then it won't be easy to get a signal into the system.

Have a look in the manual and see which yours has. If it's an input, you are laughing and as JayCee says, a simple HDMI cable is all you need.
