Can a Toshiba SD 340E DVD player be connected to a TV, using its component video and digital audio outputs, at the same time as a video sender, using its scart output?

I know I can connect through the video sender and on to the main TV by scart, but I would lose all the benefits of progressive scan and digital audio output to my main TV, which is a Toshiba 32ZP48.
