Is there a way to make global changes to folder views in Outlook 2003?

By way of an example, if I disable the viewing pane while i'm looking at my inbox it only effects the inbox - not any archive folders, the outbox, or sent items. Assuming I want to disable the reading pane for every folder, is there a quicker way than going through the folders one by one and customizing the view?

I hope this make sense. I'd like to disable the viewing pane, and groupings but switch on auto preview for unread items. It could take me some time given the number of folders I have!

I dont think there is kelvin,
as far as I've ever found, all the view settings, even custom created ones, are all applied on a folder specific basis due the different fields often required..... :(

Cheers for taking the time to reply - much appreciated :)

I suspected that may be the case. I can see the logic of being able to customise folders on an individual basis but a global overide would have been nice.
