Season 2 of the 1960's original "Outer Limits" just shipped last week from DVD Soon. The second season is quite different in character from Season 1, due to a new producer coming on board, but is still classic "Limits". In the opinion of many while not as visually interesting as Season 1, it is a stronger season story-wise. It certainly contains the best OL episode ever "Demon With A Glass Hand" (due to be produced this coming year as a big budget feature film by New Line or Miramax, can't remember which) one of the two Harlan Ellison episodes from that season - the other being "Soldier" - that were "influential" (along with Ellison's "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream") in the making of "The Terminator". So influential that Ellison successfully sued Cameron for plagiarism. Put simply "Demon" is one of the greatest pieces of filmed SF ever - small or large screen. It shows what can be done on a miniscule budget with a great script and a great creative team. If you've never seen it you're in for a treat.
