Dos anyone know of any decent outdoor speakers that aren't too expensive but sound good? I'm thinking of attaching some to the back wall so I can listen to music in the garden without having to have my hi-fi inside the house turned up to full volume.

I have only seen the german prices
They are about 25 to 40% Higher than the US prices (I think it´s the same in UK)

    Voyager 2 - 600 DEM/pair
    Voyager 3 - 800 DEM/pair
    Voyager pro 1100 DEM/pair

All Boston Acoustics micro speakers outperforms Bose anytime - that´s my opinion.

The speaker that you should consider for outside use are the B&W WP1's at around £300 I think, or something from Rock Acoustics, they look like rocks, who are distributed by Gecko in the UK. The prices for the rocks vary hugely but they are very discrete, you can even have musical coconuts!

More seriously the WP1's are very competant speakers giving a performance level similar to the 601's. They are propbably you best bet. Available in black and white.

    Visit www.bwspealers.com for more info.

    Sonance do waterproof speakers too.

We have used voyagers quite extensively (Boston). They are excellent, as are their mariners!
