    Hi,
Does anyone use outdoor speakers that look like rocks?
If so, what are they like, how much should I spend, where should I get them from?
    Thanks.

I have some rock speakers in my garden. I bought them from B&Q a while back for about £25.

The quality on them is surprisingly good for what they are. Not audiophile grade and not much bass but they easily fill my large garden with ample sound.

Really good way of annoying the neighbours.

I wouldnt bother spending much more than the ones in B and Q as sound quality in the open is always going to be very limited anyway.

I always keep the volume levels to a bare minimum, usually so you can just hear the music. The neighbours on one side are very good friends of ours, and the neighbours on the other are old wierd prats who have managed to upset my whole street, so there's not too much love lost there if my rocks offend on the odd occasion!

They "sound" good ( )!
So are they waterproof/weatherproof as well?
And do they look OK - the Mrs "needs" to know this.
    Thanks!

They are waterproof and weatherproof and Mrs Stella has no quibles with their appearance. If you live near a B&Q just go and have a look. If they are still selling them they sometimes have them on demo throughout the day.

Or if you want better sound quality than B&Q, check out Sonance, they even have different rock designs and even a planter design here
