My dad and I had a wander out along the coast at Tenstmuir, Fife the other day, it was the first day we've both been out in ages due to poor weather etc. Turned out a cracking day with a few photo opportunities, here are some of them. I really feel I need to get some Grad Filters for Landscape shooting, only had the Polariser on today. Ok I know the subject matter is poor but I liked the skies in them.

Looks like a great location to me - the pond in the second would make a great foreground if you got a liitle closer and lower.

    And yes - nice skies.

    Hi,

yeah great place for the camera, will head back again soon as it's only just along the road from my dads'. I'm pretty hopeless with landscapes, but I try :D

Will give your suggestion a go next time, prepare to be amazed :rotfl:

Lovely area and you've captured it well. The skies are super and there's something about the first shot that I really like.

I thought the Tornadoes has gone, replaced by the Typhoon?

    Hi,

glad you like them, the sky was great that morning, there were a couple of Tornados doing bumps and circuits along with an Awac most of the time we were there, never saw any Typhoons :( According to the RAF website three squadron of Tornado based at Leuchers and four squadrons of Typhoon at Coningbsy

Got potential for a really great shot #2 when you revisit. Went out with the camera last weekend and there was some fabulous skies about down here in Devon. Glad I did as the weather has been terrible ever since

Yeah good shots. It's amazing how many jets you see flying over from Leuchars.

Shame we never seem to get the weather to make any use of Tentsmuir, you definitely got lucky!

Last time I was there was just before summer and it was really bad weather, I never had the camera though as it was with a school trip.

Been superb the last few times we've been there, mind you with my dad living only a few minutes away does make it a bit easier :D

That many jets you can smell them on certain days.
