that will be an insurance job mate.
the set will almost certainly be a write off as the screen will cost more than the set is worth. get in touch with your house insurance and ask for a form.

Suonds to me like it might need re-charging with gas, ask at Comet or Currys for advice.

No, I think he could get away with a quick 'top-up' instead of the FULL recharge..

As long as you use the left handed sky-hook when you connect it.

I'd read post 2 and take that advice. I had a cracked screen myself, on delivery though, and was a write-off.
