Hi there, have heard and looked at this website which can offer 1000+ channels for a set fee with no monthly subscription. Is this too good to be true and is it legal?

There are hundreds of satellites up there, and 1000's of "free-to-air" TV channels that you can receive. What you would need is a steerable dish, and a digital receiver which is capable of receiving all the different data rates that are in use. I would imagine that the £199 system would be a very simple fixed one, because a steerable system would be more like £599 and upwards

Is it legal ? Yes. Will you get 1000's of channels ? Yes.

However, most of them will be in languages that you don't understand, and the majority of the programming will be very dull indeed.
