What is the lowest wattage possible??

I have seen unbranded 25w bulbs on eBay ... but is OSRAM better?

ALSO, I actually want something like 10w .. as I have just put a light in the bedroom and it makes Blackpool Tower look dim!!

    (A candlestick light with 5 x G9 bulbs at 40w is a bit much!)

Osram do do a 25w, and I think that is the lowest wattage available in G9.

As for whether Osram is better than unbranded, it can be difficult to say. The same factorys that the Osram lamps come out of are used for dozens of other manufacturers. If its in a completely unmarked box I'd steer clear, but if its only pence what is the risk ?

    Options.......

Frosted version of the 25 watt.

    Fit a dimmer.
