I recently got an original Xbox (circa 2003 serial) for free and was looking at my options re: softmodding. My most favoured method would be the Splinter Cell game save exploit, but it seems that I would need am Xbox controller USB adapter cable or an Xbox memory card with a USB cable to get the game save files on there. It's a bit of a hassle getting hold of these and I don't really want to give my money to ebay or some other dodgy place, so I was wondering whether a helpful soul would provide me with:

a) the exploit files on a memory card; or
b) an Xbox controller USB female adapter cable.

The first option would be the most compatible way, right? Then I wouldn't have the USB stick compatibility problems I hear so much about. Anyway, if anyone can help out or can suggest something I haven't considered for sotmodding in 2016 then that would be great.

Talk of modding legality aside is banned here AFAIK.
