Original iPhone about to become obsolete

Time to move on

It's time to put your original iPhone away in a drawer somewhere as it's about to become officially obsolete, according to internal documents that 9to5 Mac have got their hands on.

The original iPhone released way back on 2007 and has pretty much transformed our relationship with our 'mobiles' and paved the way for the post PC age and the coming of tablet PCs.

According to the documentation, the iPhone will reach a state of obsolescence on June 11 2013, with a few local exceptions so Apple will officially stop supporting it in the next few weeks.

Is it us, or does it look a lot like a Samsung Galaxy Ace? Run for cover...
