Origin and physical media codes.

Hopefully this is a very easy question for someone to answer.

My daughter has Sims 3 on her laptop which was installed using Origin using a code from CDKeys. She would like some expansion packs and some are cheaper to buy as physical copies.

I just wondered if it's possible to buy a physical disc and use the code to download the expansion pack through Origin?

That "should" be possible yes, as I am sure Sims 3 needs to be on Origin to run.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it should be the case, just hard to find a definitive answer online.

I could just buy one of the cheaper expansion packs to test it out first.

Yes it is. I have physical discs and added the code to origin and downloaded them.
