I ordered a title for the first time from Movietyme on Sat 25th,
my status is still reading "Order Taken" .
Should I be concerned that they have not shipped yet ?, or does it normally take a few days ?

Depends if your title has been released. Also, bear in mind that once you receive your "shipped" confirmation you'll probably have to wait another 7-10 days.

    Regards,

would like to know the answer to this, was gonna be ordering from them but know little about 'em.
There's plenty of threads that mention them when doing a Search, but couldn't see anything that says what they're actually like as an internet retailer.

Sorry ommadawn, probably thought this was a helpful reply to your Q!!

they usually take 1-3 days to process the order. but then it should be on processing not order taken (unless out of stock ot preorder)

once the DVD is shipped it takes 3-5 days to arrive (or at least it did with my orders)
If you have any questions and like someone to look into that. either email them at sales@movietyme.com. and talk to Lisa (very helpful)
or pm/email CraigM on this forum (check the shipping now forum for his details) he`s very helpful too;)

Thanks for the info everyone, I usually use Play, who seem very prompt, maybe I've been spoilt.

Still saying "Order Taken", don't think I will be using Movietyme again.

ommadawn, in my opinion play and cdwow are the best dvd/cd suppliers. With both being very quick and very helpful.

You learn by your mistakes !

The only reason I used them was because I read on a previous post that I may get stung from customs on orders over £18 ( I think ) from Play etc.
As my order is £38 ( Sherlock Holmes Collection ) I thought I would give Movietyme a go.

As you say jonnyv, you learn from your mistakes.
