Have anyone here order Sky + through Sky + web site?

I went onto it yesterday and had a play about pretending I was ordering but did not complete it as I was unsure.

I field in my details as a sky digital owner. Then select the products I want here what the price was

to have the sky + box and have it fitted it was going to cost £200 in total that include fitting. plus the extra £10 a month .

    What you all think

Just had a quick look at the site.
It all looks ok, decent price for the hardware and installation and you probably wouldn't get any better unless you were taking out the mirror subscription along with the SKYworld package and were a good haggler :)

Thanks very much for the update Rookie, I'm always a but dubious about web deals !

I supposed its time to get ordering, waited long enough and that deal seams to be about the best yet, if you don't want an additional subscription of course.

    Once again, thanks very much

Mjag I could also of had that deal aswell. But I did not want my other box moved to another room. So I am paying the £10 for the plus feature.

Anyone who takes out a mirror sub for £15 get the plus feature free anyway it been around for a while.

I've ordered mine but had to go to an independant installer so it's costing me £299 including installation. :(

I live in a flat with a shared sky system m8. I have two feeds from it instead of one like everyone else but because it was a non standard installation sky wouldn't touch it.

The installer came round today and everythings up and running now. Very happy so far, I'm having a play with it now :D

    FREE INSTALLATION

Just taken the plunge and called sky to take up their offer of :
    Sky+ for £199
£15 pm for Sky+ and extra subs
installation and relocation of existing digibox for £30

I didn't mention these details to the guy, just said I was interested in getting Sky+. Immediately he offered me free installation if I went for the £15 for Sky+ and extra subscription rather than £10 for just Sky+.

Wanted a Saturday installation so having to wait two weeks but very happy !!!!

    :hiya:
