ordering dvd's from Amazon - shipping and taxes?

    I'm ordering a bunch of blu-rays and hd-dvd's from amazon.com.

    Does anyone know if i will manage evade the tax if i choose the Priority International Courier? has anyone done this?

    Last time i ordered they hit me with a big tax charge!

    Is it not illegal to avoid the import duty ?

    Have you tried Movietyme ? They ship from EU/UK.

    only way to avoid with amazon is to stay under the limit, otherwise there is a good chance you'll get hit, more chance of getting hit the more priority the package has too......if it comes in under the wire on el cheapo postage then less chance of them bothering......if its expensive postage then they'll consider it expensive product and check it out....
