Ordered my E50 today from Comet (£249 inc delivery) and it's coming on Tuesday.

Will I get any media with it or do I need to get some disks? I want at least a couple uncaddied RAM disks but nobody seems to have any and those that do are expensive. Any idea where I can buy Panasonic disks with next day delivery?

Also, what's a good, cheap make of DVD-R? WOuld like to get a pack of 25 or so.

    Cheers.

It comes with one uncaddied 4.7Gb RAM disk.

There is a thread a couple of days old with some links for media.

Also try www.svp.co.uk for DVD-R's - 1x and 2x are fine, no point spending extra on 4x media.

There's 2 SCARTS on the back.

    I ordered from Mulirregion Magic - £249 + £10 del, but it's multi-region and RCE compatible.

Some Region 1 disc's use RCE to enforce the region coding, so they won't play in all multi-region players - especially if set to region free. Although tbh there isn't that many RCE discs AFAIK only 1 studio uses them.

    superfi will pricebeat,
Thats what i got from them after sending them a link to a supplier that was £249.95 inc delivery!!! Also RCE is for disney discs and some R1 discs early MR players cant do disney of any region and RCE stops basic hacks and work arounds of region coding.
