What exactly does "processing" mean at Movietyme ?

I have just ordered DEATHPROOF (bit of a contrast to Elizabeth :rotfl:) and thats noted to me as "processing"

Either its on stock or its not - they are listing it as "on-stock" so I am not sure what this processing is, unless its stalling time becasue they don't actually have any stock ... so like forming a queue !

DVD world USA also list as having on stock, so I will be miffed if its not dispatched for a week or two.

:rotfl: Same director isn't it? ;) I thinkprocessing is just a blanket term for 'Sorting, franking and shoving in the post'.

Elizabeth is a great film - hopefully my copy should be inbound from Amazon.com soon

I also hope that Elizabeth: The Golden Age will not be far behind. A quick release from Universal would be appreciated!

I think that one will be swiftly picked up. They're both films that the missus wants to get/see and always helps when it comes to upgrade time. :D

Got my copy today also. Watched tonight, didn't have the amp on so couldn't really comment on the audio but the picture is very good indeed. It was very crisp and sharp. Some scenes had a slight softness to them but overall it was great and a great improvement on my SD DVD release.

The costume detail and colours were superb in most places, architecture, stone etc had so much detail. Well worth a buy.

It was disappointing on the extras, the featurette is non anamorphic SD and looks terrible after watching the film. The Golden Age trailer (about 5mins long) looks great but different to 'Liz' (more big ships/cgi battles etc). I'm definately off to the cinema to see that in November.

Film 5/5 (I love the film)
Picture quality, a solid 4/5.

I only had a quick skim through as we're going to watch it tonight. The picture is quite nice indeed. Considering the sort of film it is and when it was filmed I wasn't expecting the world but the colours are very nice especially. Also agree with Rom that the detail on clothes textures etc is very good. :smashin:
