Has anyone had any experience with an Oray screen?
I'm thinking of getting my rippled Draper Luma H/C92" replaced with a 90.5" matt white Oray screen, as it can be despatched today. The Luma is on order from the states, and I've been waiting for 2wks already!

I need to make a decision b4 1pm in order to guarantee delivery by tomorrow!

    Thanks

I had my faulty Draper Luma replaced with an Oray screen. I made a couple of calls before ordering it and was given the impression they are better than a lot of other budget screens. Never got round to trying it out though as it was a bit too big so now selling in the buy/sell forum. Nice slimline casing though!

Let us know if you like it.

Finally got 'round to putting up the Oray. it was much heavier than the draper with a slightly different mounting.
    First impressions:

the screen material, smells like PVC, is quite thick and heavy. However, it is very curled on the outside of both sides, which may affect the edges of the picture. I'll be watching Van Helsing later so I'll see if it flattens out once it acclimatises. Also, not too impressed with the size. Supposed to be 92" but viewing area is only 87" compared to the draper which was 91" - I've lost 4"!

I may return it if it does not flatten over the next 48hrs.

Doesn't look good IMO either :zonked:

I'd certainly suggest contacting the retailer & complaining.
