Orange OVP Virgin tariff finally canned

Just got a letter confirming the decades old Orange OVP Virgin tariff will now be "simplified" with Orange's other extortinate tariffs. That means no free voicemail, 15p SMS, 25p calls to everyone else and per minute billing.

For anyone still on this old but very useful tariff, the charges kick in on 1 May so get yer PAC's ready to jump ship. Not many other options with free voicemail on contract unfortunately and the Orange OVP Virgin tariff was always useful for anyone who travels abroad frequently so that's another loss.

And I hate the way Orange says it's "simplifying" the tariff. This is a price rise pure and simple. Bunch of bloody muppets!

I jumped ship last month when my contract finished.
This whole EE thing is starting to look like very bad news.

I've gone sim only with Virgin and am currently saving my pennies for a Nexus4.
