orange livebox

hi i not sure if this is in the right place or not but i need some advice please right i have orange broadband and the speed is about 3.3mbps i think but when i download something the speed is about 320kbps how bad is this compared to others? also the rj11 cable is 10 metres from the main box and is a cheap white one would a 5 m cable which costs more be any better? thanks for any advice

Your speeds seem fine for a 3.3Mb service, just leave well alone

Is that 320 kbps (small "b" = bits) or 320 kBps (big "B" = bytes).

If small b (bits) then it is poor for a 3Mb connection. If it is big B (bytes) then it is about right.
