Can you demo it ? are you ok with possible rainbow effect on a DLP projector ?.
I was almost buying a UHD 65 when it came out but no 3D put me off. Only a small amount of vertical lense shift means its not as flexible with positioning as the Epson projector.

Tricky to price what's the warranty situation ?

Edit: Possible 3D Support with a PC connected with the latest firmware. Further info on the Optoma UHD Owners thread

Got it all up and looks brilliant very clear having trouble putting the xbox into 4k uhd and the projector wont find it but does in 1080pp but my pal said it might be because its not full 4k when i then clicked onto a game it changed to 4k uhd and netflix to.

when I picked it up he had a new pearless projector mount and a new in the box sony ubp-x800 I gave him £1150 for mount, dvd player and projector everything is woorking fine, dont no how good the player is and dont no if its going to make any differnt to watching 4k films as i use my xbox anyway that has a bluray player anyway, Just looking for some colour settings for tweaking uhd and normal watching sky q. Do you know of anywhere ?

It will most likely be the hdmi cable stopping the 4k, the optomas are very fussy.

Yes it could be as it is a 10m cable, but it is fine on the sky q and the new 4k player, was only on the xbox ? Im gonna find out if I could fit a 8m oor if it will be to short, if not fibre it is.

presume you have the xbox set to output 4k hdr, you could get it on a short cable near the pj just to test.

I know it was very hit and miss for me if it switched to 4k hdr, few reboots all round used to work in the end, but I know people on here got the more pricey fibre cables and solved the problems.

This is probably because the cable is struggling to cope with the 4K 60Hz signal from the Xbox over that distance, whereas Sky and your UHD player will probably be using a lower refresh rate so you don't see the issue when using them. We had to replace our long HDMI from the amp to TV with an HDMI fibre cable as we were having black outs every now and then, but only on the PS4. Once we'd changed to fibre these issues went away. Before the new cable we thought fibre would be another case of the emperor's new clothes doused in snake oil but no! :)

However I'm prepared to be shot down if this is giving you a bum steer!

A fibre HDMI cable may not be quite as expensive as you're thinking - we bought a 15m version of this cable (and note that there's also an £3 discount tick box just below the price):

Thanks very much for your reply I might bite the bullet and buy one in a hour when the mrs brings my card home, is this one of the better fibre cables as I seen this one already on there how can there be some 10m for £50 and then some for £150 I only need a 10m but for £3 more you get 15m would the extrs 5m cause the picture quality to lower as its traverling another 5m.

Think its worth getting it just for the quality anyway, does anyone know of any 4k hdmi leads, think im going to go all new for the xbox, 4k player and the arc to the tv. Thanks
