Optoma UHD lens issue

Hi,

I was hoping someone could advise with this. I've recently brought an Optoma UHD42 and have noticed the lens has marks on it where the picture comes through. Is this normal?

It doesn't appears to effect the picture.

Any help is massively appreciated.

Yes I have the same issue with my optoma uhd51 but on mine, the picture has a blooming effect on text, which is noticeable, mine as just gone out of warranty which I'm miffed about !
